PLSC Math Camp
My colleague Luke Cain and I developed and taught the 2025 Department of Political Science PhD Math Camp, and have a wide range of resources ready to be shared for those brushing up on foundational mathematics or preparing to lead a math camp themselves! You can find a comprehensive folder of my math slides here, and should contact Luke for his coding materials. (While this was made for political scientists, I hope you’ll find it broadly useful.)
LaTeX Guide
LaTeX is a foundational tool for quantitative social scientists, but can be a bit difficult to learn at first (especially with the wealth of information out there). I’ve compiled what I call a “Functional Guide” to LaTeX, balancing between rigor and brevity to help beginner users create lovely documents.
